It’s our 90-minute trek through Downtown Las Vegas – the quintessential urban field trip showcasing spectacular neon, legendary casinos, larger than life personalities, Vegas in the movies, the Mob, new urban lounges, fire sculptures, deep fried Twinkies, and an Elvis on every block. Well, almost. We stroll into the new “hip and cool” Fremont East neighborhood, an entertainment shopping district, featuring a giant Praying Mantis fire sculpture from the Burning Man Festival– topped off with a complimentary cocktail at the historic El Cortez Casino Hotel of Bugsy Siegel fame.

Discover the real Las Vegas on a 5-hour trek through six vibrant Downtown neighborhoods. We kick off in the morning through the historic casino district of Glitter Gulch; then the Cultural Corridor of Neon Museum Boneyard fame. Next, it’s Fremont East with its hip new shops, galleries and world famous murals – with a quick stop for lunch at a cool local eatery. We trek through an historic Hoover Dam era neighborhood of quaint cottages, and into the 18b Arts District. We round out the afternoon with a bike-share ride over to the Civic Corridor to see our “electronic finned” City Hall, and then take a peek at Symphony Park, the grand cultural showcase of Las Vegas – all topped off with a refreshment toast to Las Vegas Downtown. Not for the faint hearted – it is a trek for the true urban adventurist to discover the heart and soul of Las Vegas!
